The Gathering of the Shaman in Sedona, AZ

The Gathering of the Shaman in Sedona, AZ

What a weekend!  Filled with love, light, new friends, amazing experiences, and best of all, the warmth and love of the Toltec Tradition with the Ruiz family.

From the left, Don Miguel Ruiz JR; Don Miguel Ruiz Sr.; Phoenix; Jose Ruiz.  I was so blessed to meet them and facilitate with them!  Each of us had our own breakout session, which forced participants to choose who they were going to hear.  We all agreed that hopefully next year no one will have to choose!

It was held at the Mago Ranch, a gem of 160 acres tucked away between Cottonwood and Sedona, with breaktaking views, gorgeous grounds, and wonderful food!

I always knew I had a big heart.

Since my session wasn’t until Sunday, I was free to attend the other sessions on Saturday.  I heard Don Miguel Ruiz Jr on the Heart of Intimacy.  He talked about unconditional love vs conditional love in relationships.  How we create conditions around our beliefs and our fears.  When we try to try to control others, we are in conditional love that says “unless you do this, I may not be safe” or “unless you do that, I may not love you”, etc.  How to recognize when we are in that state, and how to change our beliefs into self respect, and mutual respect. Very powerful!  It is part of his new book he is co-writing with HeatherAsh Amara.

Speaking of HeatherAsh Amara, she led a fire walking ceremony on Saturday night.  We were only allowed to take a picture of the coals, not the fire after it was raked or the people walking (and dancing!) on the coals.  Believe me!  They were 1300 degrees.  And as Randy Davila, publisher of Hierophant Publishing and Insight Events said, “If you can let go of your belief that coals are hot, and coals will burn you, what other beliefs can you release that are holding you back?”

Oh my.  There was no pressure to walk.  You either felt guided to do it or not. And the window of guidance could open and close very quickly.  I was amazed at how many people couldn’t wait to do this. And no one got burned.  Just some hot feet.

I also sat in on Dr Steven Farmer’s Spirit Helper session.  We did journeys for ourselves and others.  I was happy to see Dr. Farmer again. I had first met him in 2011 in Sedona when he came to our healing center to teach about Power Animals.  And I recently interviewed him for my next telesummit, or interview series entitled The Energy of Miracles, a free series that begins May 8.  More on that soon!  Steven, as always, is a wealth of information, and I enjoyed his presentation.

And then it was my turn!  I forgot to have anyone take my picture as I led my session, Healing the Etheric Heart.  But oh well.  After our healing, we finished our session with an earth healing by allowing love and light to radiate from our hearts to the world.  So much love in that room!   It was simply amazing. Thank you to the 60 participants who made it so special!

Don Miguel Ruiz Sr did the opening and closing ceremonies.  He spoke about our stories, and how we create them, and in a second, we can un-create them. We can re-create them. We don’t have to hold onto them. They simply are our beliefs about who we are. And when we die, so do our stories. Unless others choose to hold onto them to remember us.  But these stories aren’t us.  They are just who we have created for the moment.

Such a powerful weekend!  I am changed forever.
